| My car shown in the pic's started out as a 1984 Fiero 2m4 junker with a bad iron juke 4 cyl motor.(purchase price $300.00). I had read about V8 Archie in the kit car mags and thought hmmm small car big engine its got to fly. After a few phone calls and selling my 67 mustang for swap money i ordered his kit. My first engine was a bone stock 350 but after i was done installing it, the car looked too plain. hehehe Bring out the sawsall as you can see i removed the top .. I kinda like the look of the Fiero with the top removed but when you do that it has its own problems. Wife tells ya you ruined the car :)))))). "LOTS OF BODYWORK" geeeezzzz thought it would never end. Steel had to be added underneath for strength. A homemade wooden frame and a vinyl top had to be fabricated plus I installed a rollbar just in case..Yikes!!! (I dont think i would ever chop one again).... Painted Richard Petty Blue. The car gets a lot of attention at cruises and shows, and even though my body work leaves a lot to be desired, the younger set think its a real cool ride. The front hood scoop is functional and increases air flow up from the radiator to help cool the small block. (should have bought Archie's 4 core radiator) oh well. Recently the stock 350 developed a rod knock so out it came for rebuilding. The engine is now bored 30 over, 11 to 1 pistons, roller rockers, solid lifter competition cam, cast iron fuelie heads, stealth low rise with a 650 holly. Small car !BIG! engine hey!!!! it realy does fly:)hehehe. A real poor man's sports car... (Total investment under $3000.00) If you have any questions feel free to email me at pmack@frontiernet.net
